9. Arena di Campo San Polo
Looking for something to do with your special someone after you’ve eaten all the pasta and drank all the wine possible? The Campo San Polo is a lively square located in the heart of the floating city. But this isn’t your ordinary square: during the summertime, it features a beautiful open-air cinema and in the winter, a grand ice rink! Bring your date, bring the whole family, either way you’re bound to have a fabulous time. Be there or be square!

Located inside the snazzy Gritti Palace, a luxury collection hotel, is one of the sweetest little Top 10 Venice bars you’ll ever see. Combining canal side views with a welcoming atmosphere, you won’t ever want to go back to your hotel. Plus, this great place features artwork by the great Pietro Longhi, which is scattered around the bar that bears his name. Make sure to try the Gritti Emotion Long Drink, best served with views of the Grand Canal. Open daily 10 AM – 1 AM.

Travelers, it’s time to whip that flute out of your sleeve and get jazzy! The Venice Jazz Club is your ultra-classic, low-lit, swanky jazz club that brings in the greatest artists from the surrounding area and beyond. Hear the VJC Quartet on weeknights and a variety of other performances scattered across the weekends. Take a break from being a tourist and let the Top 10 Venice jazz run through your soul. Named for the bar mascots that visit the patrons at night (just kidding), the Bat Bar Lounge & Terrace serves up some of the best cocktails in the floating city. Actually named for the bats carved into the cornices of the ceiling, this place is overflowing with old-world charm and the bartenders will sweep you off your feet. We’re going to go out on a limb and ask you to come hang at the Bat Bar. Open daily 3 PM – 11:45 PM.
5. Black Jack
It wouldn’t be a Top Ten Venice nightlife without a great wine bar in the mix! Black Jack is known around the city for having one of the friendliest owners in town—he just wants you to have a grand time! Serving delicious cocktails, local wine, and a variety of yummy dishes like tapas, Black Jack has a little something for everyone. Now, when the bartender hands you your drink, we recommend not saying “hit me,” even though we get it. Open Mon – Sat 7 AM – 9 PM.

Any easy choice for our Top 10 Venice nightlife was Café Filermo, a breath of fresh Brazilian air in the middle of Venice! Café Filermo features incredible roasts of coffee, every local wine you can imagine, and a cozy, charming atmosphere. Coming to life at night, this place has an endless list of cocktail options that are all spectacularly awesome. Get your party on at Café Filermo, and dance those pants off, travelers. We couldn’t keep the tallest bar in Venice off our Top Ten Venice nightclubs! The Skyline Rooftop Bar gives you all the best things: killer panoramic views, wonderful drinks, and chill vibes. Located at the top of the Hilton, the modern décor and sleek style add to the ambiance of the roof. The cocktails may be a little pricey, but that view of Venice as the sun sets over the Grand Canal is totally worth it. Open daily 5 PM – 1 AM.
